Dr. John Taylor is a 1979 graduate of Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Dr. Taylor practiced chiropractic in Vancouver, BC for 10 years. He subsequently trained as a chiropractic radiologist at the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic and completed a research fellowship in musculoskeletal imaging at the University of California, San Diego. He has been involved in chiropractic academics for over 20 years. He has published over 50 articles in peer-reviewed biomedical journals and is the co-author of Skeletal Imaging: Atlas of the Spine and Extremities. This textbook, published by WB Saunders came out in its second edition in January, 2010. He has lectured extensively on the topics of chiropractic radiology and musculoskeletal imaging. He is a peer reviewer for several journals including the Journal of the Canadian Chiropractic Association, Journal of Manipulative and Physiologic Therapeutics, and Chiropractic Medicine. Dr. Taylor has been a professor and coordinator of diagnostic imaging in the chiropractic program at D’Youville College since 2008. Above all, Dr. Taylor enjoys teaching the clinical application of diagnostic imaging to chiropractic students and interns.
