Stephanie Mussmann, DC, MS, DACBR is a chiropractic radiologist providing MRI, CT, and radiography interpretation of the spine and musculoskeletal system.
Dr. Mussmann has had a passion for radiology since she first began her chiropractic education. She graduated Magnum Cum Laude from Northwestern Health Sciences University and had top marks throughout her radiology education. Mussmann currently aims to pass on her passion for radiology to the next generation as an Associate Professor at D’Youville College, where she teaches numerous radiology courses for the Doctor of Chiropractic program.
In addition to her work as an educator, Dr. Mussmann is also highly involved with research. She was awarded three research grants during her residency through the American Chiropractic Association – Council on Diagnostic Imaging for original manuscripts submitted for publication. In addition, her original research in the field of diagnostic ultrasound forged the way to earning her Masters of Science in Diagnostic Imaging, while completing her diagnostic imaging residency program. Dr. Mussmann has presented findings of her research at numerous national conferences and post-graduate education forums. Her current research fields of interest include diagnostic ultrasound of the musculoskeletal system and Chiari type 1 malformations.
When not in front of a view box or computer screen, Mussmann can be found enjoying her hobbies of riding horses, various forms of dancing, or taking her German Shepherd out for a hike.
